Born out of a chance online encounter between Will Ezell and Alex Hein, Sunday Scaries transcends the ordinary EDM landscape. Originally connected while Ezell studied at the University of Mississippi and Hein at the University of Southern California, their shared love for music forged an unbreakable bond, leading to remote collaborations.
The duo’s destiny converged when Ezell relocated to Los Angeles, allowing Sunday Scaries to blossom into a dynamic EDM force. Both honed their skills as interns at a record label, with Ezell delving into marketing and Hein into influencer management. Their dedication paid off as Sunday Scaries secured a record deal, leading to the release of the viral sensation “Chill Like That” — a magnetic fusion of club anthem and pop allure.
Their journey came full circle when they performed at the wedding of the record label CEO who believed in them, underscoring the depth of their gratitude. Self-proclaimed hard partiers, the duo’s name reflects the post-weekend musings, but for Sunday Scaries, Sundays should evoke excitement, not fear.
