Slander with NGHTMRE @ Heart Health Park (18+)
Let’s meetup for Slander with NGHTMRE!
Slander: Champions of Emotionally-Charged Bass
Formed by longtime friends Derek Andersen and Scott Land, Slander has become a leading force in the world of electronic music, blending emotionally rich melodies with explosive bass drops. Rising from humble beginnings at Icon Collective music school in Los Angeles, the duo quickly gained recognition for their unique sound dubbed “heaven trap”—a fusion of uplifting synths and heavy-hitting beats.
Slander first broke through with their remix of Above & Beyond’s “Love Is Not Enough,” and followed with massive original tracks like “Love Is Gone” (featuring Dylan Matthew), “Gud Vibrations” (with NGHTMRE), and “First Time” (with Seven Lions). “Love Is Gone” alone has amassed hundreds of millions of streams and earned Gold certification, establishing SLANDER as melodic bass pioneers.
Their debut album, “Thrive” (2022), showcased their range across genres, from cinematic anthems to festival-shaking drops, earning critical praise and fan adoration. They’ve headlined iconic venues like Red Rocks, The Gorge, and Bill Graham Civic, while also commanding massive stages at EDC, Ultra, and Coachella.
With a global fanbase and a growing record label (Gud Vibrations), Slander continues to push the emotional and sonic boundaries of modern bass music—proving that intensity and vulnerability can exist in the same drop.
