Moksi, originally a Dutch duo from Venlo comprised of Samir Ait Moh and Diego Stijnen, burst onto the electronic scene in 2015 with their first snippet “Getting Higher,” catching the attention of Yellow Claw and earning them a debut DJ set at Tomorrowland that same year. Their early EP Brace Yourself followed, establishing their raw, genre-blending sound and setting the stage for a string of successful releases.
They scored major hits with tracks like “Open” (with Yellow Claw), “Gipsy,” “Slow Burn,” “Pigalle,” “Powermove,” and “Boom Shakalaka,” each amassing millions of streams across platforms—“Open” alone topping 34 million plays. Their genre-defining heavy-hitting drops and UK garage–inspired production style earned them recognition as true innovators in bass house.
Their full‑length albums—The Return of House Music (2019), Free Moksi (2022), and Moksi Crew (2023)—showcase their evolving artistry and fearless experimentation across house, bass, and techno styles. Free Moksi features standout cuts like “After the After,” “Shout Like,” “Keeping It Real,” and “Praise the Day,” all praised for their sonic depth and creative risk-taking.
Touring relentlessly, Moksi have played major festivals around the world—including Tomorrowland, Ultra Music Festival, EDC Las Vegas, Spring Awakening, Lollapalooza, and more—bringing their explosive live energy to global audiences in over 50 countries.
