HVDES: The Dark Force Redefining Bass Music

HVDES is a Los Angeles-based DJ, producer, and songwriter known for her aggressive, emotionally charged approach to electronic music. Blending dubstep, midtempo bass, industrial influences, and dark electronic sound design, she has developed a distinctive style that balances raw intensity with melodic depth. Classically trained in piano and influenced by punk and hardcore music, HVDES channels personal struggles and powerful emotions into productions designed to make an impact on the dance floor.

She first attracted attention with underground releases including “No Games,” “NÜ,” and “Fk My Nose Up,” establishing her reputation for dark, heavy bass music. Other notable tracks include “R U Afraid,” “Bullet Train,” “Ember” with Fransis Derelle and CRaymak, and “Don’t You Dare Go Hollow” with SVDDEN DEATH. Her collaboration “Subliminal (Even the Ghosts Are Laughing)” with CRaymak, featuring AFTERMYFALL, further showcased her ability to combine aggressive production with atmospheric vocals.

HVDES has released music through respected labels including mau5trap, Kannibalen Records, and Monstercat. Her 2024 debut album, How To Kill A God, explored themes of control, chaos, and identity, expanding her artistic vision beyond individual singles.

Her work has earned support from influential electronic artists including deadmau5, REZZ, Black Tiger Sex Machine, and Adventure Club. In addition, her label releases, international touring, and distinctive artistic identity have established HVDES as a compelling presence in contemporary bass music.
