Andrew Rayel: The Orchestral Trance Visionary
Born Andrei Rață on July 21, 1992, in Călărași, Moldova, Andrew Rayel merges classical training with euphoric dance production, becoming a leading voice in modern trance. He began composing at 13 and dropped his first original singles with renowned label Armada Music at 17.
Rayel’s early breakthrough came with tracks like “Aether” and “550 Senta”, which earned coveted “Tune of the Week” placements on A State of Trance, presented by Armin van Buuren. His 2014 debut album Find Your Harmony showcased his signature blend of symphonic instrumentation and big-room energy.
Among his standout tracks are “Horizon”, “Silver Lining”, and “The Melody”—rich with sweeping keys, emotive vocals and euphoric drops. In 2017 he founded his own imprint, inHarmony Music, to champion his evolving sound and support emerging artists.
Rayel has consistently ranked in the top 100 of the DJ Mag poll, peaking at #24 in 2014, underscoring his international stature. He has also performed at elite festivals like Tomorrowland, Ultra Music Festival and multiple A State of Trance events.
With a knack for combining classical melody and club power, Andrew Rayel continues to elevate the emotional spectrum of electronic music and drive trance forward.
