Flux Pavilion: A Dubstep Visionary
Flux Pavilion, the UK-born DJ, producer, and multi-instrumentalist, is a pioneering force in the bass music scene. With his signature melodic yet hard-hitting dubstep sound, he has left an indelible mark on electronic music.
His breakout track, “I Can’t Stop”, became an instant classic, solidifying his place as one of dubstep’s most influential artists. The track has been sampled by Jay-Z and Kanye West on their album Watch the Throne and featured in numerous films, commercials, and video games. Other major hits like “Bass Cannon”, “Do or Die” (feat. Childish Gambino), and “Emotional” have further showcased his versatility and production mastery.
Flux Pavilion co-founded Circus Records alongside Doctor P, helping to push the boundaries of bass music and launch the careers of many rising stars. His 2015 album “Tesla” displayed his evolution as an artist, incorporating live instrumentation and diverse electronic influences. In 2021, he released “.wav”, an album that signified a new chapter, blending experimental sounds with his signature energy.
Having performed at major festivals like Glastonbury, EDC, and Coachella, Flux Pavilion continues to shape the future of bass music, inspiring the next generation of producers.
