ATLiens: The Masked Masters of Alien Bass Invasion
ATLiens are a masked DJ and production duo hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, known for their extraterrestrial-themed personas and dark, hard-hitting bass music. Their signature sound—a fusion of alien-inspired hard trap, tribal bass, and haunting melodies—made a powerful entrance with their debut single “Chief”, which gained early endorsement when Skrillex played it during a Boiler Room set.
Since then, ATLiens have built momentum with riveting collaborations, such as “Black Sheep” (2024, with GG Magree), which showcased their ability to blend pulsating bass with hypnotic melodies. Another standout, “Closer”, is a brooding collaboration with mau5trap alum Eddie, released as part of their Ghost Planet EP on Insomniac’s Bassrush Records.
ATLiens officially expanded their reach with the release of their debut full-length album, Leaving The World Behind (2024). The 13-track collection spans styles—from ambient and midtempo to indie-pop fused with growling synth bass, and midtempo drum & bass collaborations—highlighting their versatility and adventurous sonic palette.
Through masked anonymity, cinematic bassscapes, and a commitment to storytelling via sound, ATLiens have carved a vivid niche in the bass music realm—transporting audiences to uncharted sonic territories.
