Danny Ávila: Spain’s Mainstage Techno Prodigy
Born on April 1, 1995, in Marbella, Spain, Danny Ávila began DJing in his early teens and quickly turned heads across Europe. His early breakthrough came with the big-room anthem “Cream” (2015), in collaboration with Tujamo, which secured his status as a rising star in the global dance scene.
Building on that success, Ávila released tracks such as “Loco” (with Nervo & Reverie) and “Too Good to Be True” (with The Vamps & Machine Gun Kelly), both of which showcased his ability to cross into pop-influenced electronic territory. He has also been instrumental in defining the “Mainstage Techno” sound, launching his own label of the same name and pushing energetic techno into festival arenas.
Ávila’s career is marked by notable accolades: he secured the No. 36 spot in the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs list in 2022, and climbed to No. 42 in 2023 — a record high for a Spanish DJ. He also made headlines as the youngest resident DJ signing at Hakkasan Las Vegas in 2013, underscoring his rapid ascent.
With his blend of festival-ready energy, genre-spanning production, and a clear vision for techno’s future, Danny Ávila remains one of Europe’s most compelling electronic artists.
