Daniel Griffith (born September 29, 1987), known professionally as Gryffin, is a San Francisco‑born, USC‑educated musician, DJ, and producer celebrated for weaving a rich tapestry of piano, guitar, and electronic elements into his music. He first rose to prominence in 2014 with remixes of major hits—Tove Lo’s “Talking Body,” Maroon 5’s “Animals,” and Years & Years’ “Desire”—showcasing his ability to reinvent pop tracks with emotional depth.
His 2016 original single “Heading Home” (feat. Josef Salvat) topped Spotify’s US and Global Viral charts and reached No. 22 on Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs. Later that year, “Whole Heart” (with Bipolar Sunshine) also became a Spotify hit, while his collaboration “Feel Good” with Illenium featuring Daya (a GRAMMY winner) further solidified his place in electronic music. His debut album, Gravity (2019), spawned hits like “Tie Me Down” (feat. Elley Duhé) and “Remember” (with Zohara), both climbing dance charts—“Remember” even hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Dance Club Songs.
Gryffin has performed at global festivals—EDC Las Vegas, Coachella, and Outside Lands—backed by his signature live setup that includes piano, guitar, and electronic gear.
