Reinier Zonneveld is a Dutch DJ, producer, and live performer recognized as one of the leading forces in the global techno scene. With a classically trained background in piano and a degree in economics, Zonneveld’s diverse skill set has enabled him to blend intricate melodies with raw, driving techno beats, setting him apart as an innovative artist.
He first gained international attention with his 2015 release “Things We Might Have Said,” which topped the Beatport charts and catapulted him to stardom. Since then, Zonneveld has continued to dominate the charts with tracks like “Hard Gaan” and “Inferno,” both of which have become anthems in the underground techno world. His unique approach to live performances—where he improvises using modular synths and other equipment—has made him a sought-after act at festivals like Awakenings, Tomorrowland, and Time Warp.
In 2017, Zonneveld founded his own label, Filth on Acid, which has quickly become a platform for cutting-edge techno. He has collaborated with heavyweights like Carl Cox and released on respected labels such as Drumcode.
