Let’s meetup for Ero808!
Ero808: The Genre-Blurring Electronic Trailblazer
ero808 (real name Erik Zlokarnik) is a Boston-bred, Boulder-based singer-songwriter and electronic producer whose distinctive sound merges hip-hop, electronic, house, trap, and UK garage influences into compelling, emotionally charged music. He began his musical journey at just 11 years old, drawing inspiration from hip-hop and Latin rhythms before evolving into an innovative voice in modern electronic music.
Early in his career, ero808 gained attention as part of the collaborative project 8Ö8 alongside Shöckface, releasing tracks like “QÜICKSAND” and the socially charged anthem “HEADSHÖT,” which showcased his hypnotic vocals and ability to fuse aggressive bass with narrative lyricism.
One of his breakout solo collaborations was “HYPNOSIS” with AYYBO, a tech-house track that racked up over 20 million streams and peaked on the Shazam Global House Chart, earning significant radio play on BBC Radio 1, Capital Dance, and Kiss FM UK. He has also released dark and dynamic solo material, including standout tracks like “Succubus,” “RIGHT OR WRONG,” “Emerald,” and recent singles such as “GENIE” and “BABYLON” in 2025.
In 2023 he put out the EP A Necessary Evil, featuring the euphoric single “MERCEDES,” which highlighted his expanding artistic range and cemented his reputation for blending genre influences with direct lyrical themes around ambition, nightlife, and introspection.
Known for his genre-defying productions and live performances that integrate his original vocals with DJ sets, ero808 has built a devoted following and carved out a unique niche in the contemporary electronic and hip-hop landscape.
Through innovative collaborations, viral streaming success, and a gritty, introspective voice, ero808 continues to push the boundaries of electronic music and elevate his profile globally.
