ARMNHMR presents: Passport’s “Arrival” EP Release Party @ Exchange LA (21+)
Let’s meetup for Passport!
Passport: ARMNHMR’s House-Focused Alter Ego
Passport is the house-music side project of the melodic bass duo ARMNHMR, allowing the pair to explore deeper club grooves and uplifting house rhythms outside their signature “Hammer Sound.”
Under the Passport name, the duo leans into feel-good dancefloor energy, combining melodic elements with driving house beats designed for late-night sets and festival stages. Tracks like “Be Mine” and “Stay With Me” highlight the project’s brighter, groove-focused direction.
While still a newer alias, Passport has already gained support from DJs across the house scene and from fans of ARMNHMR eager to experience the duo’s evolving sound.
ARMNHMR: Architects of Emotive Melodic Bass
ARMNHMR is a Los Angeles–based electronic music duo comprised of Joseph Chung and Joseph Abella, known for their soaring melodic bass and emotionally charged production. Since emerging in 2013, they’ve released a distinctive catalog of music richly layered with atmospheric synths, powerful drops, and heartfelt vocals.
Their debut album The Free World dropped in 2020, featuring collaborators like Nevve, Micah Martin, and KARRA. In 2020 they followed it up with their evocative A Thousand Dreams EP on Dim Mak Records, featuring tracks like “Fragile” and “Coming Home.” In 2023, the duo released their sophomore album Together As One, a ten-track journey that explores personal growth, with standout singles like “Lifeline” (featuring Lena Leon) and “Someone to Forget” (with Lights).
ARMNHMR has earned respect not just for their releases but for their live presence, performing at major electronic music festivals including EDC Las Vegas, Tomorrowland, and Beyond Wonderland. In 2024, they made history as the first Asian-American production duo to secure a residency on the Las Vegas Strip at the Wynn.
With a signature “#HammerSound” that fuses future bass, trap influence, and melodic dubstep, ARMNHMR continues to resonate deeply with fans around the world — crafting emotionally resonant dance music that connects as much in the headphones as on the dance floor.
