Gaskin: A Rising Force in the UK House Scene
Gaskin is a British DJ and producer from the North East of England who has quickly established himself as one of the exciting new names in underground house and tech house. Inspired by the raw, groove-led sounds of 1990s dance music, he combines rolling basslines, infectious rhythms, and modern production with an energetic, club-focused approach. His passion for music developed while living in Ibiza, eventually leading him to pursue a career as a DJ and producer.
Gaskin has built an impressive catalog of tracks, including “A Fresh Energy,” “Closer,” “Get Ya Freak On,” “Ultraman,” “Inspired Eyes,” and “Make You Sweat.” His 2024 Closer EP on Up The Stuss was a major breakthrough, with the title track gaining significant attention after Chris Stussy used it to close his Boiler Room set. “Get Ya Freak On,” released on Solid Grooves in 2025, became another standout and a personal milestone for Gaskin.
Beyond his music, Gaskin co-founded Bass Jamz, a record label and events brand that has developed into an influential platform within the underground house community. He has performed at major venues and festivals including Fabric, The Warehouse Project, Creamfields, Amnesia, Pacha, and Paradise.
Gaskin has earned multiple No. 1 releases on Bass Jamz and strong Beatport chart recognition. His growing international profile and distinctive sound continue to establish him as a leading figure in the next generation of house music.
