Sullivan King: Where Heavy Metal Meets Dubstep
Sullivan King (real name Keaton Prescott) is an American DJ, producer, and guitarist known for fusing the raw intensity of heavy metal with the crushing power of dubstep. Based in Los Angeles, he has carved out a unique lane in electronic music by combining live screaming vocals, shredding guitar riffs, and festival-sized bass drops.
He first gained widespread recognition through collaborations with some of bass music’s biggest names, including Excision, Slander, and Kayzo. Standout tracks like “Wake Up,” “Flatline,” “Unbound,” and “Loud” showcase his signature blend of metalcore aggression and dubstep energy. His collaboration with Excision, “Someone Else,” became a fan-favorite anthem within the bass community, while “Don’t Care” with Bear Grillz further cemented his reputation for high-impact festival tracks.
In 2019, Sullivan King released his debut album Show Some Teeth, followed by Loud in 2023, both packed with genre-crossing tracks that blur the lines between rock and EDM. His music has accumulated hundreds of millions of streams and earned support from major artists across the electronic scene.
Known for explosive live shows where he performs guitar and vocals while DJing, Sullivan King has played major festivals including EDC Las Vegas, Lost Lands, Beyond Wonderland, and Ultra Music Festival. With his fearless genre fusion and high-octane performances, Sullivan King continues to push the boundaries of bass music.
