Bassrush presents: Kill Safari (Kill The Noise + Bro Safari) @ Exchange LA (21+)
Let’s meetup for Kill Safari!
Kill Safari: Bass Music’s Explosive Power Duo
Kill Safari is the high-octane collaborative project formed by American bass music producers Kill The Noise and Bro Safari, blending their heavy dubstep and trap roots into a relentless sonic force that ignites festival stages and club floors. The duo burst onto the scene with high-energy back-to-back performances, first emerging in 2023 and quickly captivating audiences with their intense hybrid sets at major events like Lost Lands and Ultra Music Festival.
Their 2025 single “UGS” — the lead from their forthcoming Crashout EP on Deadbeats — showcases their signature mix of distorted drums, punishing basslines, and razor-sharp sonic design, carving out a bold new chapter in heavy bass music. Kill Safari has also delivered notable remixes, including their dark, devastating take on Must Die!’s “Chaos,” adding their imprint to one of dubstep’s most iconic anthems.
Celebrated for their genre-bending production and explosive live energy, Kill Safari has become a must-see act for fans of bass and heavy electronic music — continuing to push boundaries and evolve the sound of modern bass culture.
Kill The Noise: Bass Music’s Fearless Innovator
Kill The Noise is the stage name of Jacob Stanczak, an American DJ and record producer from Rochester, New York, known for his high-energy fusion of dubstep, electro house, drumstep, and bass music. He first carved out a reputation in the late 2000s, releasing heavy club anthems and forging a distinctive sound that blends hard drops with intricate production techniques. Stanczak originally released music under the alias Ewun before launching the Kill The Noise project in 2008.
One of his most recognizable credits is the collaboration “Recess” with Skrillex, Fatman Scoop and Michael Angelakos, which charted on the UK Singles Chart and helped bring his work to a wider global audience. He also co-produced and featured on tracks like “Narcissistic Cannibal” and “Fuels the Comedy” alongside Skrillex and Korn for the band’s genre-blending album The Path of Totality in 2011.
Kill The Noise has released multiple acclaimed albums including Occult Classic (2015), EMBRACƎ (2022), and Hollow World (2023), showcasing his evolution from heavy bass roots to more textured and melodic electronic styles. His track “Kill It 4 The Kids” featuring AWOLNATION and R. City earned a nomination at the Berlin Music Video Awards.
A mainstay on festival lineups worldwide, Kill The Noise has performed at Coachella, Ultra Music Festival, Tomorrowland, Lollapalooza, EDC, Bonnaroo and more, captivating crowds with explosive live energy and genre-defying sets.
With a career spanning nearly two decades and a catalog of influential collaborations and solo projects, Kill The Noise remains a pioneering force in electronic music, continually pushing bass culture forward.
Bro Safari: The Genre-Bending Bass Architect
Bro Safari, the alias of Nicholas Weiller, is a dynamic DJ and producer known for fusing trap, moombahton, dubstep, and bass music into high-energy festival anthems. Originally part of the drum and bass trio Evol Intent, Weiller launched his solo career as Bro Safari in the early 2010s, quickly building a reputation for rowdy live sets and genre-defying productions.
He broke out with tracks like “Scumbag”, “The Drop”, and “Snap” (with UFO!), which showcased his sharp production skills and ability to keep dancefloors in motion. Collaborations with bass heavyweights like Dillon Francis, Kill The Noise, and ETC!ETC! solidified his presence in the global bass scene, while tracks like “Reality” (feat. Sarah Hudson) revealed his knack for blending melody with chaos.
Bro Safari has graced the stages of major festivals including EDC Las Vegas, Ultra Music Festival, and Lollapalooza, earning praise for his electrifying performances. Though he announced a hiatus in 2019 to focus on family and creative growth, his legacy remains strong within electronic music.
With a cult following and a catalog that helped define the trap/bass movement of the 2010s, Bro Safari continues to be celebrated as a pioneer of bass music’s wildest frontiers.
