Let’s meetup for Devault & DJ Susan!
Devault: The Shape-Shifting Visionary of Dark Dance
Sage DeVault — known simply as Devault — is an American DJ and producer from Orange County, California, who emerged around 2016 with a distinct sound blending dark wave, melodic bass, and cinematic electronic atmospheres.
Devault first drew attention with his early releases like “Nothing New” and a breakthrough remix of DJ Snake’s “A Different Way,”** which helped introduce him to the wider EDM world. His 2018 remix of Sabrina Claudio’s “Don’t Let Me Down” also garnered substantial streams and added to his growing reputation.
His debut LP, Stay (2018), showcased his cinematic leanings with lush production and emotive songwriting, while subsequent EPs — including JADE (2019) and Sapphire (2019) — explored darker, retro-inspired textures and expanded his stylistic range.
In recent years he’s delivered standout originals such as “Leave Me Low” and “Get To You” (with Griff Clawson), the latter debuting during a full 360° live-show production in Los Angeles.
With over 150 million streams on key tracks and a catalog that moves from introspective melancholy to club-ready energy, Devault consistently defies expectations. As of 2025, he remains a rising force in electronic music — unafraid to evolve, embracing darkness and melody alike.
