Nick Rotteveel, known professionally as Nicky Romero, is a Dutch DJ, producer, and remixer from Amerongen, Netherlands, who has become a defining figure in the global EDM scene. Born on January 6, 1989, Romero first gained major attention in 2011 with his breakthrough single “Toulouse,” which quickly became an anthem in festivals and clubs worldwide.
In 2012, Romero teamed up with Avicii for “I Could Be the One,” a collaboration that reached No. 1 on the UK Singles Chart and broadened Romero’s reach into mainstream pop. He also delivered hits like “Like Home” (with Nervo), which topped the Beatport Top 100.
