Let’s meetup for Tchami!
Tchami: The Priest of Future House
Tchami (born Martin Joseph Léonard Bresso on May 12, 1985, in Cahors, France) is a pioneering French DJ and producer credited with helping define the future house genre. Elevated by his distinctive ecclesiastical stage persona—complete with clerical collar and altar-like visuals—he delivers a sound that blends deep house groove with bold, bass-driven energy.
Tchami broke through in 2013 with the single “Promesses” (feat. Kaleem Taylor), which reached No. 7 on the UK Singles Chart. Other standout tracks include “Adieu” (2017) and “After Life” (feat. Stacy Barthe), each reflecting his evolving sound and melodic sensibility. In 2020, he released his debut full‐length album, Year Zero, a 16‐track project showcasing everything from filter house to bass-heavy rhythms.
Beyond his music, Tchami founded the label Confession and is a member of the French DJ collective Pardon My French. His tracks have accumulated hundreds of millions of streams, firmly establishing him as both a tastemaker and a top performer on festival stages like Tomorrowland and Ultra Music Festival.
With his vision, Tchami continues to evolve the boundaries of house music while remaining one of dance music’s most compelling figures.
