Audien, born Nathaniel Rathbun in Mystic, Connecticut, is an American DJ and producer celebrated for his uplifting, melodic approach to progressive house and trance. Bursting onto the scene in the late 2000s, Audien quickly gained recognition through releases on Anjunabeats and Enhanced Music, building a reputation for his euphoric soundscapes. His breakout came with tracks like “Wayfarer” and “Room to Fall,” earning support from major DJs across the globe.
In 2015, Audien’s career skyrocketed with his Grammy-nominated remix of Bastille’s “Pompeii,” a track that showcased his talent for blending emotion with festival-ready energy. He followed up with charting singles such as “Something Better” with Lady A, which hit Billboard’s Dance Club Songs chart, and “Higher” featuring Matthew Koma. His debut album, “Escapism” (2019), further cemented his place as a leader in melodic dance music, featuring fan favorites like “Reach” and “Buzzing.”
Audien has performed at the world’s top festivals, including EDC, Tomorrowland, Ultra Music Festival, and has held residencies in Las Vegas.
