Space Laces: The Sonic Architect of Bass Music
Space Laces, the moniker of Louisville-based producer Ian Slider, has become synonymous with innovation and technical mastery in the bass music world. Fusing elements of dubstep, electro, and experimental sound design, Space Laces is widely respected for his razor-sharp production skills and futuristic aesthetic. Since breaking onto the scene, he has pushed the boundaries of electronic music with tracks like “Throwin’ Elbows” (with Excision), “Dominate,” and the fan-favorite “D.A.W.”, which showcase his high-octane energy and sound engineering prowess.
His acclaimed Overdrive EP on Never Say Die Records further solidified his reputation, earning praise for its genre-defying sound and complex structures.
