Marten Hørger: A Global Force in Bass House
Marten Hørger is a German DJ and producer renowned for his high-energy blend of bass house, tech house, breakbeat, and electronic dance music. Beginning his DJ career as a teenager, Hørger first gained recognition as one half of the breakbeat duo Boogie Army before establishing himself as a solo artist. His distinctive production style combines heavy basslines, infectious grooves, and powerful festival-ready drops, earning him an international following.
Hørger broke through with “LGFU,” his 2013 solo release, which helped establish his reputation in electronic music. His 2017 collaboration with Neon Steve, “You Don’t,” became a defining bass-house anthem. Other notable tracks include “Take Me High,” “The Calling” with Tchami, “Ya Think” with Habstrakt, “Take a Step Back” with Dr. Fresch, and “The Freaks” with David Guetta. His collaborations and remixes have appeared on influential labels including Confession, Musical Freedom, Monstercat, and Spinnin’ Records.
Hørger’s achievements include winning Best Track and Best Producer at the 2014 International Breakspoll Awards for “LGFU.” Beatport recognized him as its most successful bass-house producer of 2021, and he was voted National Breakthrough Act of the Year by Faze magazine readers in 2023. That year, he also debuted at No. 88 on DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs list.
With performances at Tomorrowland, EDC Las Vegas, and Glastonbury, Hørger continues pushing bass house onto the world’s biggest stages.
DJ Susan: House’s High-Energy Movement Builder
DJ Susan—real name Steven Glathe—is an American DJ, producer, and label-head based in San Diego, celebrated for his vibrant tech-house and bass-house productions.
He’s the founder of Hood Politics Records, a grassroots imprint credited with over 150 releases and a supportive, inclusive community for up-and-coming artists as well as established names.
DJ Susan has delivered a steady stream of dance-floor favorites—tracks like “TalkinN” topped the Beatport Bass House chart, while “Secrets” reached #1 on the Tech House Hype chart. His single “Dream of You”, a collaboration with Maximo, was called “a soulful tech-house banger” full of groove and energy.
In 2025, he expanded his footprint by launching a new label, Peak Dial, aiming to explore heavier bass-music territory and support fresh talent.
As a DJ, Susan is known for his dynamic, feel-good sets that embrace community and inclusivity; he’s performed at clubs and festivals across North America, earning a reputation as a reliable crowd-mover.
