Marie Vaunt: Acid-Techno Architect
Marie Vaunt is a Japanese-American techno DJ and producer based in Los Angeles, known for her fierce acid-inflected techno and atmospheric rhythms. Her track “Dark Room”, released on Drumcode Records, climbed to #1 on the Beatport Techno Peak Time Top 100, positioning her as one of the most explosive new voices in peak-time techno.
In early 2024, Vaunt achieved the rare feat of having three tracks simultaneously in the Beatport Top 10—namely “Dark Room,” “ADSR,” and “Reaction.” That same year, she earned the distinction of being the best-selling female techno artist on Beatport, ranking fourth overall across all techno artists.
Marie’s sound fuses dark, driving kicks with ethereal vocals and acid-303 lines, paying homage to both her Japanese heritage and her rigorous techno identity. Her label releases span respected imprints such as Drumcode, Revealed Recordings and Hi-Lo’s HILOMATIK, while her own imprint Kurai Records has become a top-ranking techno label on Beatport.

T78 Italy’s Techno Architect
T78, the alias of Italian DJ and producer Manuele Tessarollo, is a major figure in the modern hard and peak-time techno movement. With a career spanning more than two decades, Tessarollo began DJing on vinyl as a teenager and later built an international reputation as the hardstyle artist Activator. In 2015, he launched T78 to explore his longstanding passion for techno, developing a signature sound built around pounding kicks, powerful basslines, rave influences and dramatic drops.
T78 has released a prolific catalog of tracks including “Blast-Attak,” “Fisto,” “Megator,” “AC/ID,” “New World,” “Liquid Night,” “Hardcore,” and “Enfant De La Rave.” His remix of Moby’s “All the Hurts We Made” has surpassed 14 million Spotify streams, while “Hardcore,” released on Filth on Acid, reached No. 1 on Beatport’s Techno chart, one of his most significant career achievements.
In 2016, Tessarollo founded Autektone Records, creating a label dedicated to his high-energy vision of techno. The label has grown into a top-selling peak-time techno imprint on Beatport. His 2021 album, #OnlyBombs, further established his distinctive musical identity.
T78 has performed at major festivals and venues including Tomorrowland, Awakenings, Time Warp, Verknipt, Ultra Europe and Tresor, cementing his international reputation as a leading force in contemporary techno.
