Sunday Scaries: Bringing High-Energy House to the Mainstream
Sunday Scaries is an American DJ and production duo made up of Alex Hein and Will Ezell. The pair first connected online through their shared passion for electronic music and began collaborating remotely before eventually joining forces in Los Angeles. Formed in 2019, they quickly developed a sound that blends house and electronic dance music with influences from pop, hip-hop, R&B and indie music.
The duo gained widespread attention with “Chill Like That,” their 2022 collaboration with PiCKUPLiNES. The track became a viral sensation, sparking a TikTok trend and appearing on Spotify’s global Viral Charts. It helped propel Sunday Scaries past 50 million streams and more than one million monthly listeners. Other notable releases include “Xtasy,” “Cali Girls,” “Want That,” “Naughty,” “Speak Up,” and “Back To You” featuring Emi Grace.
Sunday Scaries have also built an impressive live résumé, sharing stages with artists including DJ Snake and Louis the Child and performing at major venues and festivals across the United States. Their energetic, crowd-focused sets have helped establish them as a growing presence in the American dance scene.
